Hello Melissa. Thank you for leaving a comment on the Blog.
I am a classic homoeopath, but have never heard of the phrase 'ripen' symptoms. But it sounds as if its Silica.
Although Bach Flowers are often thought to be the same as homoeopoathy - they are two totally different healing systems).
Bach remedies are chosen on feelings only.
However, if you're unable to 'see' the feelings clearly, then you can give Holly or Wild Oat (for direction).
I generally start with the question or thought "what needs to be cured?" That generally makes it easier to get to the emotions that need to be healed.
I hope this is helpful. If not get back to me and I'll help. Rose.
PS I think there are a lot of Mr Spock's in the world - those who don't know how they feel! Rose.

Hello Melissa. Thank you for leaving a Comment. Yes, I believe self-knowledge allows for a strong connection with the Soul, and this gives a happy and successful life - and so avoid dementia. Rose.

This brings up an interesting point, Rose. In homeopathy there is a remedy that will help 'ripen' the symptoms so they can be more readily recognized. I can't remember right now - perhaps silica or tuberculinum. Anyway, is there an emotion precipitator? Maybe wild oat, sculanthris, or walnut?
Having said that, I tend to go with, "what is the biggest problem you're having right now and how do you feel about it?"
Do you remember that old Star Trek movie where the computer repeated asks Spock, "How do you feel?" and he says, "I do not understand the question" ? That's how hard it can be sometimes just accessing emotions.

Hello Barbara. Thank you for your comment. I do, from time to time, offer my book. Somehow people like to buy the Guides first and then perhaps move on to the book.
Thank you for your kind words about Simply Bach Flowers. I'm glad you like it. Love Rose

In reply to <a href="https://thebachflowerschool.com/bach-flowers/bach-flowers-helping-others-dementia/#comments/148">Pamela</a>.

Hello Pamela. Thank you for leaving a message. Your poor Mum. She must be so confused. (And its hard for the family too).
Bach Flower Remedies deal with emotions, and as you say you're mum is angry and violent. I suggest you give her Rescue Remedy - always good to help 'stick us back together'. And I think Holly will help her a lot.
Put 2 drops of each remedy into a small glass of water. Then when you make her tea or coffee, take a teaspon of the water and put it into her drink. That glass of water might do her for 2 days. But please make a new glass every alterative day.
I'm sure the remedies will help. Rose.
