How to fix self doubt

Do you recognise any of these traits in yourself?

When you are lacking self-confidence:

  • You have no self belief.
  • You expect to fail and/or have sub-optimal outcomes in whatever you are doing.
.... so you don’t even try because:
    a) you can’t do it;
    b) even if you tried, you still couldn’t do it; and
    c) anyway someone else can do it so much better than you...
  • You have feelings of 'lacking'... and this can lead to procrastination and deferral and difficulty starting/finishing things.
  • You frequently compare yourself with others — feeling behind, not good enough, or assuming others are more capable.

If you recognise these and your confidence is easily shaken then this blog is for you!

You may need to take the Larch Bach Flower Remedy - for healing low self-confidence. Read on for more information...

Self-confidence (some call it self-esteem)

I believe that a solid self-confidence is the foundation of a happy and successful life.

I also believe that lack of confidence can bring on anxieties and a profoundly deep depression which isn’t recognized as ‘lack of confidence’.

If you've got confidence; if you've got this firm foundation of confidence, you will stand up and do anything you want to. You'll be able to ace obstacles not knowing how you will overcome them but you will try because I've got the courage and the confidence to have a go at it. You can't have courage if you haven’t got confidence they go together.

So despondency of not having any confidence to the point where you expect failure. Those lacking self-confidence are often very capable people, but in states of low self-confidence don't think that they are capable...  here's something to remember:

“Don't always believe what you think”.

Developing a Larch State?

If your confidence is very fragile, and if you’ve been frequently criticized or had someone tell you you’re not good enough, or if you’ve really struggled to do something and someone else has done it effortlessly, you can easily be demoralized and have your confidence wiped out.

So many feelings spring from lack of confidence – feelings of anxiety, inferiority, loneliness, lack of worth and a deep depression, to mention just a few.

will procrastinate because they don't know what to do. They don't have the confidence to know what to do next and therefore procrastinate and go into despondency. The depression and the despondency and the despair of Larch is so deep sometimes so deep that it's difficult to see that it is quote “only lack of confidence”

If this sounds like you... then likely you’re in need of the Bach Flower Remedy Larch.
